Winter Plans

With the new year comes our new plan. I thank God for His grace in building our friendships this past year and I look forward to the amazing things He has in store for us this coming year. One of my main hopes is that younger members, the future of our fellowship, could be more engaged and so for the next 10 sessions, we're going to be going through a curriculum called Preparing for Adolescence. We all face unique challenges throughout our teenage years from peer pressure to infatuation and yet the common solution, the One we need most is Christ. As we examine the different emotions and changes and difficulties that come with becoming an adult and experience the love of Jesus satisfying our desires and healing our wounds, may our praise of Him and delight in Him be overflowing, heartfelt, and genuine. So without ado, here's the plan, which God-willing will help us be true worshipers and disciples of our Father.

Also, we get to organize this year's Thanksgiving celebration, so be praying about it!

Summer Plans

Hi Everyone,

Here is the outline of our plans for the summer in terms of Bible Study (I'll post some stuff regarding outings later...of course most of the time we decide to do things on a "play it by ear" basis)

Forum!

I thought it would be cool for us to have a forum where we can discuss stuff, so I set one up at: <"http://www.gkiseattle.net/forum">. First you have to apply for an account, but don't worry the process is quite streamlined. The forum software is written in PHP and uses a MySQL backend; it's called <"http://getvanilla.com/">. Hopefully we can be more in touch with each other throughout the week through this forum. Tell me if you have some ideas for categories/other things to add to the forum.God Bless!-ChrisP.S. Praise God for a fun Christmas Celebration, thanks to everyone who was a part of it.
