MISSION’S CORE VALUE: Along with Jesus’ command us to do His GREAT COMMANDMENT, our church's Mission and Vision Statement is "making disciples of all nations and ..... be faithful witness for our Lord".
Our mission team is focusing on partnering with other organizations that proclaim the gospel explicitly. We would go to "Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the end of the world(Acts 1:8)" with God's calling. Mission team will select about 4-5 organizations each year. We should know the partnering team very well and have the same visions. Our supporting organizations are not too big in size. So that we can sent our members out to the mission field effectively.
An Elder is trusted to head this Pillar which has the following responsibilities:
- Targeted evangelistic outreach: Indonesian American, Everett, Auburn
- Ministry to the poor, the sick, the lonely and the powerless
- Bridge to the Presbytery, other Presbyterian Churches in Seattle and Indonesian Presbyterian Churches in the nation
- Engagement in the struggle to free people from fear, oppression, hunger and injustice e.g. persecuted Christians around the world
